ALUMNI MEET 2025: A LEGACY THAT ENDURES
The Centenary Alumni Meet at St. Edward’s School, held from 11-13 October 2025, was a magnificent convergence of nostalgia, pride and celebration- a tribute to a hundred years of faith, friendship and fortitude.
The festivities began with the 'Celebrate Life' Marathon from Shimla Club to the school, uniting Edwardians past and present in a symbolic run of legacy. The Centenary Flag Hoisting and Torch Relay embodied the enduring spirit of the institution, while spirited sports events rekindled camaraderie across generations. The evening resonated with melody as Gagandeep Hothi’s sitar recital and the unveiling of metal art installations paid homage to Edwardian creativity.
On 12 October, the unveiling of the Blessed Edmund Rice Statue honoured the Christian Brothers whose vision shaped the school’s soul. The Cultural Gala, Academic Awards and the Service of Light- Lumen Sequere illuminated the evening with reverence and inspiration.
The finale on 13 October saw generations marching together, the inauguration of the Memorial Park and the initiation of Time Capsules for posterity. The Fete with Purpose and a thoughtful gesture- a free movie and snacks for orphans, embodied true Edwardian compassion.
The celebration was not just a reunion, it was a reaffirmation that while time moves on, the Edwardian spirit remains eternal.
