To commemorate the Labour Day and to appreciate and thank the selfless service of the support staff, labour's day was celebrated with full zeal and aplomb.
To make the day special and as a mark of respect, students welcomed the support staff with flowers and cards made by them.
All of them were formally introduced and seated at the centre stage which was followed by a melodious prayer song. This was followed by a speech on the significance of the day, the event continued with a melodious musical performance a stream of fine, euphonious lyrics, and a great combination of instruments leaving everyone in a state of trance. The students presented a poetry to commemorate the efforts and work of our support staff. Thereupon a skit was presented with the clear message of respecting and appreciating the efforts of workers, not just in our school but everywhere else as well. One of our senior most employ Krishan Sir then addressed the school on behalf of the entire support staff, enlightening us with his experienced words. After the address the support staff of our school were felicitated by our Principal. The students presented a graceful and supple dance performance. A vote of thanks was delivered and the school rose for the national anthem. ‘A worker is the creator and a great asset of the nation’ having such thoughts and immense respect for our support staff the event came to an end
